Excellent, not to hot, never too cold. Unlike many other locations the average temperature is really the most likely temperature.
Ideal between mid September to Mid March, yep throughout Christmas and the new year.
Playa del Ingles is protected by a the mountains to the north, any clouds comming in over the Atlantic hit the mountain tops after they pass playa del ingles, and any cñouds from the north generally don´t make it past the moutains.
Of course the whole Island is a conical shape, a dormont Volcano but there are some extra flat regions such as playa del ingles beach with it´s famous sand dunes created by accumulated sand particles that have flowed down to the beach area after the rare but heavy rains that occasionally hit the mountain tops.
This one of the few places that, after the rains have fallen, everywhere is much dirtier, all the roads, cars etc have a thin layer of sand on them.
Give that process a few tens of thousands of years and you can see how the dunes were formed from the sand particles blowen over frrom the Sahara.
