The language exchange program, (intercambio de idiomas) is creating a buzz in the business community in and around Playa del Ingles.

The idea is simple and has been around some time, but the new program appears to be off to a good start and backed by a group of over 50 people on the Island.
The free exchange sessions take place between English speakers and Spanish speakers, the venues being in the north and south of the Island, currently around once a month in selected Cafes..


Membership is free, although the Cafe hosts do expect people to buy a coffee and have a basic proficiency, so it´s not for complete beginners an the get togethers are not lessons, but clearly there is a chance to learn more
