Traditionally laws have always favoured land owners, landlords as we call them in U.K.
Depending whether you pay rent or collect rent the laws lean in one direction or the other, right now since December 17th 2008 the laws are said to lean more in the direction of the Landlords following the Spanish Cabinets proposed change to the.Law.
This Law has not yet been approved by the parliament, but it allows landlords to start legal proceedings against tenants who miss one months rent.


We not experts in the law but it seems as though many are jumping the gun and many tenants are finding themselves on the streets within six weeks of not paying the rent!
