So lets see if we can spot any patterns here
We know that we need to learn quite a few verbs before we can really get going, but we also need to learn how to use those verbs so that we can communicate the critical idea of time or when.
Here's a few examples, we'll extract the verb later but for now the intention to say something about he past, presnt or future is the focus
I tried to do it .
I am trying do it .
I will try to do it.
Traté de hacerlo
Estoy tratando de hacerlo
Voy a tratar de hacerlo
Ok thats one lot, you can drop the "de hacerlo" (to do it) part as that isn't important here, we are concentrating on the past present and future and how to communicate the idea of "when".
Here's another example of how to say something about the past present or future.
I listened to it
I am listening to it
I will listen to it
Yo lo escuchaba
Estoy escuchando a
Voy a escuchar lo
Oh so here's where you learn something.
Learning takes pace when you do it yourself. From only these two examples alone you can figure out so much.
Here's how to do it
You need to spot the verb ( the doing word) and see how that changes based on the whether it is used to decribe something that was done in the past, something which is being done now, or somthing that will be done in the future
